Saxon Aerospace LLC./Saxon Unmanned is pleased to announce the signing of a long-term agreement with the City of Eureka for control of the entire Greenwood County Kansas Airport.
Saxon Aerospace LLC./Saxon Unmanned is a manufacturer of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Terrestrial Robot Crawlers for commercial, industrial and military clients around the world. Our mission is to design and build the most rugged, reliable systems and provide on-site training to ensure success for each client.
As the UAV landscape continues to evolve with regulations and technology, Saxon aims to provide drone companies around the world a safe and secure facility to conduct training, R&D or testing on their unmanned platforms.
Saxon will set up a full workshop, training classroom and offices at our airport and lease the space to clients on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. The Eureka Airport offers a 3600 foot long runway and 60 feet wide and a host of aircraft hangers.
The Eureka Kansas Airport is located in the heart of Greenwood County Kansas surrounded by beutiful rolling hills, farms and ranches. The airspace around Greenwood County is mostly Class G which offers unobstructed space to conduct flight operations in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration.
In addition to proactively contributing to the UAV industry, Saxon aims to bring jobs to the region and participate in forward progress of Greenwood County and the State of Kansas. Our clients and yours could benefit from this facility and continue to build a stronger industry and economy.
