Patrick day two AUVSI 10

Man, what a hard day in the exhibit hall. I started the day off with more airspace integration meetings. The meetings went fine and the general consensus is that the recent AUVSI rebuttal letter to Nancy Kalinowski was a step in the right direction. I still believe we need to be more grassroots and champion the cause of small business, but we’ll have to see what happens in the coming months. I didn’t make it very far in the exhibit hall as I kept running into familiar face at every turn. I got by the MLB booth to have a look at the latest iteration of the Bat, not bad. Stopped by the NASA booth to talk with Mike Logan (Langley), and Mike Marston (Dryden), both great guys and SMEs on the sUAS ARC. Saw Med from Sarnoff, Chad Partridge and finally got to meet Jay Willmott in person. So, I didn’t make it halfway through the exhibit hall before it closed. The MITRE booth did indeed have a picture of the venerable ‘Cracker Barrel’ and myself taken at the Quantico Virginia demo. Good times. Good times. I did get a couple of pics that I will try to upload at the airport, time permitting.
