As a fully insured, CAA-accredited (<25kg) small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) operator and a multi-sensor Imagery Analyst, its founder Andy established ARC Aerial Imaging to continue his specialist knowledge in air-breathing aerial imaging accompanied with his previous professional career acumen in Imagery and Spatial Analysis in the Royal Air Force for over 20 years.
Established in January 2015, ARC Aerial Imaging is a comprehensive aerial imaging service through the application of new and continually evolving multi-rotor aerial platforms coupled with various imaging sensor types.
Accompanied with Andy’s subject matter expertise in Imagery Analysis, it’s services are aimed to provide a complete client service. Not only is this through the capture of high-quality aerial still images and UHD videos, it also articulately plans, consults and comprehensively delivers aerial imaging solutions accompanied with training consultation to companies, businesses and organisations for their project requirements.
Since January 2015 and now into its seventh year of operating, ARC Aerial Imaging is certified with its Operational Authorisation from the UK CAA which permits it to operate and deliver aerial imaging services using unmanned aerial vehicles; a legal requirement to possess when operating UAVs/drones on a commercial basis in the UK.
In addition and as part of our legal obligations we are and have:

Qualified UAV Pilot/Operator trained by a CAA certified NQE Training Provider;

£5M Public Liability insurance from a specialist UAV provider;

CAA approved Company Operations Manual including Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS);

Company Health & Safety Policies and UAV/On Site/Personnel Operating Procedures.
Furthermore, ARC Aerial Imaging possesses the ECITB CCNSG Site Safety Passport certification which, as a specialist service provider, is aimed with an underpinning knowledge of Health & Safety to enable contractors to work on a site more safely with lower risk to themselves and others whilst meeting statutory requirements of the Health & Safety Executive.
