The Benchmark for Industrial Drone Compliance: The DJI Matrice 400 with the AVSS PRS-M400 Drone Parachute

 AVSS – Aerial Vehicle Safety Solutions Inc. (AVSS) is pleased to announce the launch of the PRS-M400, a Parachute Recovery System for the new DJI Matrice 400. The PRS-M400 provides DJI M400 users with the necessary compliance for flight over people and enhanced containment.

Leveraging the engineering and compliance work of AVSS’s existing drone parachutes, AVSS is quickly bringing this compliant parachute recovery system and flight termination system to market. The company is expecting delivery to authorized resellers commencing in Q4, 2025.

About the PRS-M400: The PRS-M400 is an integrated ASTM F3322 drone Parachute Recovery System (PRS) that enables key regulatory compliance for enterprise drone pilots. The PRS-M400 safely and legally enables DJI M400 users to fly over people. The PRS-M400 will comply with Federal Aviation Administration Operations Over People under Part 107.39 waivers, Transport Canada Over People rules, EASA – European Union Aviation Safety Agency MOC 2512, and, in general, countries that use JARUS official M2 mitigation requirements for SORA. The PRS-M400 will also comply with EASA – European Union Aviation Safety Agency MOC 2511 requirements.
