Celestial is a drone display company that has delivered beautiful, award-winning drone shows all around the world. The company includes drone pilots, amazing filmmakers, event producers and tech wizards with a passion for innovative storytelling using drone technology.

This is a full-time role based from our Celestial offices in Frome.

Working exclusively for Celestial alongside the operations and producing teams, your role is to maintain the drone swarm aircraft.

You will have the highest level of understanding of the UAV’s and in addition to planning and handling more basic maintenance, such as prop changing and on-board component inspections & cleaning, you should be prepared to develop and manage sophisticated bench testing and diagnostic processes.

A knowledge of all underlying drone hardware, firmware and software is desirable, including but not limited to ArduPilot, PixHawk and PixHawk Cube. A strong, practical grasp of electrical engineering and all transceiver and network technologies is essential. You will have an eye for detail and be proficient in the use of database software for drone maintenance logging for
reference and auditing.

You will manage a small team of inspection and maintenance crew and incorporate their activities into the overall maintenance program which you will schedule in collaboration with the Head of Projects and Operations (POM) ensuring that the company has the optimum number of aircraft available at any given time for its global operations.
