CreoAir radios selected by AIR

We are happy to share that our CreoAir broadband radio has been selected by @AIR to support its innovative, all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (#evtol) aircraft flight tests campaign.
AIR, an Israel-based startup, is developing an eVTOL for the consumer market, providing an unprecedented intuitive “drive in the sky” experience.

As the next stage in flight testing, AIR’s inaugural vehicle, Air One will be flown unmanned, with AIR utilizing Creomagic’s communication solution to monitor the flight, parameters, transmit commands to the aircraft, and eventually, land it safely.

“As we embark on the next phase of flight tests, Creomagic’s technology will be an asset in our mission to make safe and accessible personal air mobility a reality as soon as possible,” said Rani Plaut, Co-Founder and CEO of AIR. “With a myriad of moving parts required for a successful flight test, relying on an efficient and accurate communications system will certainly assist in streamlining the testing process and accelerating AIR’s mission and personal eVTOL ownership”.

“We are excited to be part of this formative event in electric air mobility,” said Alex Shapochnik, Co-Founder and CEO of Creomagic. “Electric air mobility is expected to evolve into a mass market of autonomous air taxis, personal aircraft and cargo air vehicles, all of which will be require broadband reliable and scalable communication services. Independent mesh networks are quite a promising candidate technology to fulfil this requirement”.
