DroneAcharya Wishes Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modiji the Drone Way on his 72nd Birthday

The Indian Drone Sector has made significant development in recent years, largely due to our Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi‘s belief in the technology and transformational initiatives to make India a Drone Hub by 2030. On the occasion of his 72 nd birthday, DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited, a Pune-based Drone startup conducted a Drone Show to showcase one of the largest ever greeting cards lifted by a drone.
The drone show was a complete delight for drone aficionados, consisting of a hexacopter heavy liftoff drone lifting an 8 x 12 feet large greeting card off the ground and two drones taking video footage of the activity. The act showcased the skill and experience of the drone pilots who manually controlled the drone without the help of any software. Apart from this, a majority of the DroneAcharya employees participated in the show by a ground formation of the figure “72”, as seen in the video footage.
This is an act which clearly requires the technical know-how and hands – on experience of professional and DGCA certified drone pilots. Having grown from a 3 – people company to now 65+ employee strength, DroneAcharya is a classic example of the many thriving drone startups that have been able to gain business and industry acceptance due to PM Narendra Modi’s belief that “Promotion of drone technology is another medium of advancing our commitment to good governance and ease of living”.
With the success of the event, Prateek Srivastava, the Founder and Managing Director of DroneAcharya
Aerial Innovations was quoted saying “This is a small gesture from our end to show our gratitude towards
our Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji for the immense boost and encouragement he has
provided to the Indian Drone Industry through his many initiatives, such as the Svamitva Yojna for mapping India using drones, Kisan Drone Yatra to encourage farmers to utilize drones in farming, making the procedure of RPTO (Remote Pilot Training Organization) applications easier and faster, and hosting Bharat Drone Mahotsav – the very first and largest drone centred event, to name a few. Today, India is on a fast track to becoming a Global Drone Hub by 2030 primarily due to the phenomenal boost given by Modiji”.
