COPTRZ Announce Strategic Partnership with Wingtra to Supply Specialist Surveying Drone

COPTRZ, UK and Wingtra, Switzerland have today announced a strategic partnership where COPTRZ will become the primary UK distributor of the Wingra fixed-wing VTOL drone for mapping & surveying.

Wingtra’s flagship drone, the ‘WingraOne’ is a specialist fixed-wing UAV capable of surveying vast areas of land with a flight time of up to 55 minutes. It successfully bridges the gap between traditional multirotors and fixed-wing drones, with the capability of vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) that enables the operator to safely use the drone without searching for appropriate take-off sites.

Built to work alongside it’s specialist ‘WingraPilot’ flight planning software, the WingtraOne is completely autonomous, with limited flying experience required by the operator.

The partnership will further strengthen COPTRZ position as a leading provider of complete drone surveying solutions, having already delivered successful projects to a number of key players in the industrial space including Seven Trent Water, BAM Construction and Veolia. Only last week COPTRZ announced their bespoke integration of a specialist UAV LiDAR for Aberystwyth University.
