Sharper Shape and SkySkopes pull power lines

Congratulations to SkySkopes, and Sharper Shape Inc. they have undertaken the first sock pull mission with a drone in North America. 

No, I didn’t know what a sock pull was either.

The sock line is a smaller lead line or sleeve that is then used to guide much heavier power lines across the gap between poles.

This is work can be undertaken by manned helicopters. That is obviously a much more expensive undertaking.
