Otherlab Everfly team need you
The Everfly team is building some really different autonomous flying things. Drones but not drones, or UAS but without the bureaucracy. Things that fly through the night. Things that deliver medical supplies to places where there aren’t roads. We’re looking for good people to join our team. We explore what’s possible in aircraft design, taking advantage of advances in materials, power density, motor efficiency, flight control, and communications to build autonomous gliders, helicopters, and other systems uniquely suited to cool new applications. We love to math twice and build once. We’re good with our hands and our minds and need both to work well together.
You: want to work with a small team that values fast design & build & test cycles. You like trying out new things with big complex engineering systems, and you like checklists too. With the opportunity to build cutting-edge stuff comes the potential to start new companies around our ideas. We are a stable R&D lab environment that produces startups that take & run with some of our best work. Job descriptions are flexibly defined to let you carve out the role that suits you. Some of your colleagues are on other continents. You may travel occasionally locally and overseas up to 10% of your time.
