DJI drones maintain market share in the USA

Its a 45.4 % market share for DJI by registration as 2016 begins. Its actually a little bit more as many people have built their own systems using DJI equipment or registered standard DJI platforms as the manufacturer.

The sales of Precision Hawk platforms have slowed and bubbling under at #6 is Yuneec. Their recent collaboration with Intel and award at CES are bound to bring more platforms to the register. Very soon they will be in the top 5.

We continue to see manufacturers tout higher numbers for platforms in commercial use, but unless they are registered its just a hobby sale as far as we are concerned.

The rise in registered commercial drones in America is rapid but nothing like private use. That’s gone from 0 to 300k in a month…
