A Greenville man has been arrested after police say he flew a drone near a medical helicopter.

Justin Chillo is charged with interference with manned aircraft by unmanned aircraft system, which is a felony.

The man was arrested Monday by Vidant Medical Center police, the same day it happened, according to the arrest warrant.

It says the helicopter was taking off at the time from the Greenville hospital.

The 27-year-old Chillo was jailed on a $2500 bond and has since been released.

He has an April 13th court date in Pitt County.
