Simception lights the afterburners on its new “Special Air Wing” flight simulator!

Simception is proud to unveil its new flight simulator app “Special Air Wing”.

“Special Air Wing” is designed to be the first high-end simulator on iOS to allow players to fly combat drones,jet fighters and helicopters, all in a single app. The game’s simulated aircrafts, with cutting edge modern avionics systems and diverse weapons, are simulated for maximum realism. It took over two years and the input of experienced combat pilots in order for the Simception team to reach such high levels of realism and enthralling game play.

 “Special Air Wing” will excite players of all levels from hard-core simulation fans to aviation and drone enthusiasts, as well as beginners. Virtual pilots will enjoy carrying out air-to-ground attacks, mastering vertical take-offs and landings, testing their wits in dogfights, finessing approaches, making carrier landings and completing missions, or just the simple pleasure of free flight.

We’re from the world of professional jet fighter simulators and we really wanted to create a combat sim for jets, helicopters and drones, with high fidelity flight dynamics, high frame rate and with totally functional cockpit controls, not just static textures. Modern jet fighters have many systems to control them and it was extremely challenging to display all the cockpit controls on a mobile device but I really believe we’ve aced it.
