DJI Releases Vision Ground Station Update for VISION App

– Added capability allows Phantom 2 Vision and Phantom 2 Vision+ to fly autonomously along GPS Waypoints set in the DJI VISION App
– Simple interface allows pilots to set GPS easily by dropping pins on a map and adjust height and speed
DJI is pleased to announce Vision Ground Station capabilities for the DJI VISION App.
Using the updated app, Phantom 2 Vision and Phantom 2 Vision+ pilots can set up to 16 GPS waypoints by dragging pins onto a map of the nearby area. With a path set, pilots then can adjust the altitude of each way point and the Phantom’s speed. With all the parameters set, hitting “Done” launches the Phantom automatically
The Vision Ground Station update also includes a return to home button that will immediately recall the Phantom back to the point of launch mid-flight. Pilots also can regain control of their Phantoms during the flight by flicking the S1 switch on the Phantom remote down and then up.
The app will also warn pilots if their Phantom’s battery life is too short to complete a course.
The Vision Ground Station update is available for both iOS and Android users.
