This is a Special Notice only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. All interested parties are encouraged to respond to this Notice. The U.S. government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Notice will be solely at the expense of the interested party. Not responding to this Notice will not preclude participation in any future RFP if issued.
The Government is conducting market research for the Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (SUAS) Product Office (SUAS PdO), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama to identify and determine potential sources to support the SUAS PdO and its customers for acquisition of systems and parts.

BACKGROUND
The Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Project Office is seeking qualified business candidates that can provide systems and parts for existing systems to support current and future Warfighter needs. Potential vendors should have the capability to immediately provide SUAS systems for the RQ-11B and RQ-20A as well as parts and components.
In support of this requirement the Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Project Office will hold an Interchange Meeting at the Marriot Huntsville, Five Tranquility Base, Huntsville, Alabama 35805 on Wednesday May16 from 8:30AM to 5:00PM. Current systems including Air Vehicles, Ground Control Stations (GCS) and Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Acquisition Tools (RSTA) laptops will be made available to potential offerors to view at that time. Contractors will have the viewing rooms unto themselves to specified period of time.
PROTOCOL
No Photographs/video, disassembly, or tools are permitted at the appointment. Notes and hand drawings are permitted. No more than three personnel per company are allowed to attend the appointment. Room monitors shall be present, who will immediately terminate the viewing if the rules are not followed. Room monitors may accept written questions to be answered at a later date, but monitors cannot be asked, nor answer oral questions.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
All attendees (no more than three per company) must RSVP NLT 1PM CDT, 15 May 2012 to: Major Jeff Poquette, Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems: [email protected] No walk-ins will be admitted. Upon confirmation of the RSVP, an appointment time and viewing room will be assigned to the requesting company.
All attendees must show proof of United States citizenship by Birth Certificate, Naturalization Documents or a current United States Passport before being granted access to the viewing room.
