Demonstrate and develop VTOL capability with a unique high performance machine. Am an Aero Engineer, CEng and a lectrurer PT at a university in UK.
In designing this Olecopter I have the intention of satisfying a number of problems with UAV’s. Provide VTOL performance, High Speed in Forward flight, High lift due to propulsion unit and multi sensor capability for different tasks. I am seeking opinion regarding the performance specification. The airframe is built, has been ground tested and a newer enhnaced performance airframe is being built. For the UAV forge.net competition this machine will need designing to a smaller “BACK-PACKABLE” design. This will be achieved with the use a tube launched system for the smaller design.
