TheDroneMap.com Launches New Flight Report Feature

TheDroneMap.com has launched Flight Reports, a highly requested feature for drone pilots to share planned flight activity and improve situational awareness across the airspace.

The new Flight Reports function allows users to publish details of upcoming drone operations directly on the map, including where, when, and how high. Other users can see these as blue shapes on the map, and also make contact securely through the platform if they will be flying in the same place, at the same time.

Creating a Flight Report is straightforward. The user simply long presses, or right clicks on the map, and then defines their flying area using either a circle or a custom shape, adds a description and maximum height, and then the report becomes visible to other
users.
