FEDS – Junior drone pilots wanted

We’re looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Junior Drone Pilots. This is your chance to work alongside experienced professionals, operate advanced UAV platforms, and gain hands-on experience in real-world projects. If you have a passion for drones, a willingness to learn, and the drive to grow in a fast-evolving industry, we’d love to hear from you. 

Salary Range: 5,000 to 8,000 AED per month.

 Key Responsibilities
• Assist in planning and executing drone flights as per project requirements and safety guidelines.
• Operate drones for data collection, including RGB, thermal, and multispectral imagery.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks to ensure drone readiness and compliance.
• Support in field operations including equipment setup, calibration, and battery management.
• Assist in data handling – transferring, organising, and backing up collected imagery/videos.
• Maintain flight logs and submit mission reports as per company and regulatory standards.
• Follow local aviation authority regulations and company SOPs for safe operations.
• Assist in basic drone maintenance and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior pilots.
• Coordinate with team members, surveyors, and clients to ensure operational efficiency.

 Qualifications & Skills
• Basic drone flying experience (preferably DJI Enterprise platforms).
• Familiarity with UAV regulations and safe flying practices.
• Good understanding of GPS-based navigation and aerial photography principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to travel for projects and work in varied environmental conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred (but not mandatory)
• Valid drone pilot certification from the relevant aviation authority.
• Experience with mapping, thermography, or inspection missions.
• Driving license or willingness to take license after joining.

Work Environment
• Field-based role with frequent travel to client sites.
• Outdoor work in varied weather conditions.
• May require early mornings, weekends, or extended hours depending on project needs.
