Flying Basket – Drone Pilot / Flight Instructor
FlyingBasket is an innovative Start-Up, specialized in the production of modern multi-copter drones suitable for commercial use of load lifting and transportation. Since its inception, FlyingBasket has become the benchmark in the commercial cargo drone industry.
We are continuously expanding our commercial operations and looking for someone to join our team in the journey towards unlocking the full potential of our innovative technology.
The Role
As a pilot you will fly the FB3 cargo drone in commercial operations for various customers in Italy and other European countries. You will also perform test flights to support the development team.
Your Responsibilities
As drone pilot you will be responsible for:
• Prepare and plan flights according to the Operations Manual
• Conduct flights as planned as pilot or pilot assistant
• Perform post-flight activities
• Report deviations to the maintenance team
• Work on procedures to improve flight operations
• Depending on qualification train new pilots
Requirements
• A1/A3 and A2 pilot license in Open Category or similar
• Pilot license for Standard Scenarios in Specific Category or Instructor pilot license is a plus
• Airband radio license is a plus
• Proven experience in working as a pilot, experience in flying without GPS support is a big plus
• Experience in drone operation in mountainous terrain is a plus
• Driving license B
• Fluent in English. German and Italian are an asset
• Excellent communication, analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility in terms of adapting to the dynamic nature of the company
