WingtraOne takes off and lands as a multicopter but flies in the air as a fixed-wing aircraft. This technology eliminates the risk of damage to its heavier and higher-end sensors (e.g. its 40MP Sony RX1RII payload option) and still allows mapping of large areas. When combined with these sensors, the post process kinematics upgrade allows the WingtraOne to reach new levels of accuracy–down to 1 cm absolute accuracy–without any ground control points.
