GUTMA Annual Conference 2018

Join GUTMA in Madrid to discuss and shape the future of UAS Traffic Management. The two-day conference brings together air navigation service providers, drone manufacturers, infrastructure operators, UTM service providers, as well as leading regulators and researchers.

The event is open to all and is a unique opportunity to meet a lot of GUTMA full members.

Day 1 tackles the hard issues facing regulators and UTM industry stakeholders. What mechanisms can ensure fair and efficient access to high-value airspace, what is the role of networked and local solutions in UTM, how can UTM support the development of SORA (specific operation risk assessment), will UTM moved from being used by unmanned aircraft to also being used by manned aviation? As many conversations that you will not want to miss.

Day 2 starts with a live UTM demonstration organized by Everis and ENAIRE, followed by a discussion on lessons learned organizing this demonstration and similar trials around the world. The rest of the day is dedicated to drone integration in urban environments with a focus on the role of local authorities. Municipalities must understand the links between UTM services and urban infrastructures to plan for the development of urban drone operations.
