We are seeking a talented Web Content & Social Media Manager to be responsible for guiding content optimization across various marketing platforms. This position is responsible for promoting the organization’s core messages online, increasing user engagement and traffic, and developing and maintaining a consistent format and tone for all components of our website.
This role will work to infuse SEO more effectively in all content produced. This role will identify how new content can be optimized to speak to various target audiences. This position is critical to implementing marketing strategies and bringing them to life via content across all mediums.
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage (Corporate site, blog, social media platforms) day-to-day operations to ensure content, style and appearance are updated.
Take a lead role in maintaining our site.
Create and implement content schedules
Create and update sitemaps to document website architecture.
Maintain our digital asset library to ensure consistency across web, print and sales enablement materials being used.
Carry out quality assurance checks on new content and updates being pushed live.
Lead search strategy, budget management and search analytics. Utilize search including SEO and SEM to develop awareness and generate qualified leads.
Ensure web compliance with legal requirements.
Ability to create graphics and do basic photo and video editing when needed.
Responsible for working with writers to add graphics and multimedia content for posts and articles.
Taking a leading role in maintaining our site and working with our web developers
Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention.
Qualifications and Skills
Advanced knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
Fluency in WordPress
Experience with CMS and CRM applications, marketing automation and integrating with systems and data sources through API’s. Specific knowledge with WordPress
Strong proficiency in Social media analytics tools.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
Working knowledge of online analytics tools, including the ability to perform data mining to analyze online trends and report on site and campaign statistics and performance preferred.
Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Excellent copy editing and fact-checking skills. Relentless attention to detail.
Superior organizational and communication skills.
Ability to develop fresh, engaging, and well-structured headlines, body copy, and calls to action intended for mobile readers.
Proven working experience in social and digital media marketing.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Flexible and creative in approach.
Thrive in fast-paced environment.
3+ years related experience in online marketing or digital communications is preferred
3+ years of experience producing web, e-mail and social media content preferred
3+ years of copywriting experience; digital and e-mail channels strongly preferred
