Consortiq takes home prestigious cloud services award

Consortiq is pleased to announce that it was crowned best cloud services provider at the Digital Experience Awards in London for its drone operations management software,CQNet.

Beating a number of highly-respected competitors in the same category, Consortiq proved that CQNet is an innovative digital capability that is disrupting the way in which drone operators manage their operations.

“It’s fantastic for CQNet to be recognised as a winning software product to help organisations manage their drone operations,” Paul Rigby, Consortiq’s CEO, says.

“More so because this was amongst many other industries and products, which demonstrates that drones are now mainstream for those businesses looking for a competitive advantage.

“It was a great effort from the team to get us this far, and we thank our clients who trust us to help them put their drone strategy together.”

The company, alongside the other nominees, had to pitch to judges at the event in Wembley, London on 22nd November, after which Consortiq picked up the award.

“This has been 15 months in the making, taking mine and Paul’s vision from paper diagrams on a wall to the launch of CQNet, and now that it is has been duly recognised by receiving a UK Digital Experience Award is fantastic,” David Walters, software development manager at Consortiq, adds.

“We have worked so hard as a team on the development, as well as showcasing CQNet to be the leading enterprise product on the market. With clients such as ArgenTech and UK Aircomms utilising the system, it shows that the enterprise market is embracing the Internet of Things to ensure safer delivery of UAS operations.”

Developments already being planned for the future of unmanned technology include automation, artificial intelligence, and flying taxis, which Consortiq is ready to embrace and support through its CQNet software.

“That’s why we innovate, so others can achieve,” Walters says.
