Australia Drone Pilot – RePL Holder, UAV Controller, photographer

We are looking for a RePL or UAV Controller to join the team.

In this role, you will build and maintain strong working relationships with a broad range of clients. You will work closely with your colleagues  to perform aerial photography, videography and surveys using UAV technology.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Due to the growth of our business, we have a fantastic opportunity available for RePL or UAV Controllers in Melbourne. The role will see you shooting short video and photo presentations for residential and commercial properties. Daily responsibilities will include:

• produce high quality aerial stills photography & videography
• maintain all reporting and equipment checks as per operations procedures.
• liaise with clients directly with a professional manner and attitude.
• pay attention to detail and work independently.
• You will be required to perform your duties on location or elsewhere as reasonably directed by the employer.
• A current Drivers licence and a reliable motor vehicle
• Reliable Internet to process files to our cloud platform (NBN preferred)
• experience with Lightroom/Photoshop
• Excellent communication skills and a mature, responsible approach to their work will also be highly regarded
• Previous experience in photography or videography will be highly regarded
• This role requires an individual who is confident and well spoken.
•  Availability from 8am – 8pm Monday – Friday
• 2-3 hours availability during the day on Saturdays is essential
• Graduates encouraged to apply although some video experience will be preferred.

• Current aviation law knowledge is a bonus

Skills and experience

• RePL/ UAV Controller 7kg or up to 25kg
• Working knowledge of UAV operations and regulations
• Sound knowledge of DJI Platforms
• Photography and Videography experience
• Ability to work under pressure
