Python Tracking Project In Everglades Using Thermal Technology
Volaero Drones, a Miami based Drone Tech Startup Company, has teamed up with Bill Booth Outdoors and Bruni Infrared. They have started a python tracking project in Everglades using drones and thermal technology. Utilizing advanced drone imagery to create solutions for the python problem in the Florida Everglades.

It is estimated that over 100,000 Burmese pythons are living in the Everglades and are ravaging the wildlife. Because the female python can lay up to 80 eggs per clutch, they are multiplying exponentially and decimating the state’s small mammal population. Both the Florida Fish & Wildlife and the South Florida Water Management District are continuously looking for solutions to this python problem.
