UK’s Leading Telecoms Inspector UK Air Comms Chooses CQNet to Ensure Safe UAS Operations

UK Air Comms was formed by drone and rigging specialists, who deliver drone survey projects for various blue-chip organisations.  With projects delivered for EE, MBNL and Arqiva, health and safety and risk management are a high priority when carrying out close proximity inspections and low altitude site surveys.

With over 700 surveys carried out in 2016, totalling over 1000 flights, with more expected in 2017, managing drone operations, from pilot to risk managers is essential.

Mike Kitchen Director of UK Air Comms said, “We believe CQNet offers the most comprehensive, scalable solution for our growing company. Along with good relationships with the CAA, this puts us in a great position moving forward.

CQNet will support our ongoing business development and safety plans, logging and recording all flight and pilot data will be a huge step in achieving our OSC (Operational Safety Case) application to the CAA.

Kitchen continued, “Demonstrating to our clients we are serious about our safety and risk management goals is key in the telecoms sector.  CQNet enables us to deliver our high-quality product whilst maintaining an enterprise level of risk and safety awareness.”
