Podcast Series Achieves “Featured” Status at Blogtalkradio.com

Another milestone for the popular sUAS News podcast series was reached when the editorial staff at BlogTalkRadio selected us as a “Featured Host” on their network. We started the cast as another vehicle to give a busy audience another avenue get get information. We feel that employing social media to disseminate information is the right and timely thing to do. In turn, we want to support a culture of social education that is open to everyone. The download numbers suggest that we have made that mark as the interest has exceeded the numbers everyone thought constituted the unmanned aircraft community.

I always look forward to the Podcast, and it would appear that other folks do too. This latest accolade for me represents third party confirmation that we are giving the people (listeners) what they want; namely, news, information and insight into this fast growing industry. I enjoy learning something new every week, and I believe it helps bring into focus the current mosaic and provide a bridge between it and the missing pieces educating the community and building awareness.

Gene Robinson adds…

As our numbers go up, and we get more readers and listeners, I find it intriguing that our base is expanding outside what we would consider our industry core. Sure, we get the UA operators and pilots, but by the emails, tweets, and likes we are reaching other disciplines like legal, human factors, and even animal rights! This comes from the efforts of a few individuals dedicated to digging out the facts, showing the process for what is, and getting the truth out about what’s going on in the UA arena. Because our contributors and stories are well vetted, I believe that sUAS News conveys more consistent, quality, factual information than any other outlet on the web.

Gene and I would like to extend a big thank you to all of our loyal listeners.
