BOSH Precision Agriculture Names Young Kim as General Manager

BOSH Precision Agriculture (BOSH) has named Mr. Young Kim as its General Manager. Kim brings to BOSH a 20-year background in business development, aviation technology, and unmanned systems. He assumed his new position on April 16.

Kim’s experience identifying opportunities for unmanned systems within civil markets was a driving force behind his appointment. Chief Executive Officer Robert Fitzgerald selected Kim to spearhead BOSH’s entry into the precision agriculture sector of the commercial Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) market.

“Agriculture ranks high among several areas in which unmanned aviation has almost unlimited potential,” said Fitzgerald. “As a pioneer in this field, Young is able to lend valuable insight into how unmanned systems are shaping the future of this industry.” Kim’s passion for the potential of unmanned systems in this area led him to create and chair the commercial UAS industry’s first conference focused on using these systems for agriculture.

BOSH Precision Agriculture is dedicated to leveraging the benefits of Unmanned Aircraft Systems to deliver economical solutions that enable growers to realize increased crop yield and lower production costs.
