China exports 1066.66 drones a day.
Quite amazing figures recently released by customs in the city of Shenzhen home to most of the drone manufacturing in China
It is said that 160,000 units of civilian drones worth 750 million yuan ($120 million) were exported from January to May 2015.
That is…. 160,000 / 150 days = 1066.66 drones setting out into the wild every day.
I would like to see more numbers to smooth that growth line a little along with a breakdown by type. It might be 100,000 palm sized toy quads and very few serious ones.
But from a market that barely existed 10 years ago its quite a thing.
Did the number 1066 remind anyone else of invasions?
