Easy Access Rules for the Basic Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2018/1139)
This publication contains the Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 July 2018 on common rules in the field of civil aviation and establishing a European Union Aviation Safety Agency.
Revision from January 2023 includes the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/1087 of 7 April 2021 amending Regulation (EU) 2018/1139, as regards updating the references to the provisions of the Chicago Convention.
The Easy Access Rules for the Basic Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2018/1139) are available for free download on the EASA website:
- as a pdf in an easy-to-read format with advanced navigation features through links and bookmarks;
- as a dynamic online publication with filters and search functions for simple navigation using computers, tablets, and mobile phones; and
- in an xml format with machine-readable content.
As these Easy Access Rules have been generated through the eRules platform, they will be updated regularly to incorporate further changes and evolutions to their content.
