Main fields of application include aerial surveillance, search & rescue as well as inspection of far-stretching assets. SwissDrones’ unmanned solutions are designed for the effective replacement of manned helicopter operations at reduced costs, significantly lowered carbon emissions, and with increased safety.

To support our growth, we are searching for a

Development Intern 60-100% (m/w/d)

in Buchs, SG, Switzerland.

We are offering a very dynamic and exciting work environment, your main tasks are:

Computer aided design (CAD)
Creating technical drawings
Support testing of components and sub-systems
Support testing of the complete drone system
Root cause problem solving
Technical documentation
Updating article master data in ERP system
Improving SwissDrones processes and procedures
Supporting the design organization team in various projects and topics

Your profile

High-school diploma or similar (e.g., Berufs-Matura or Matura/Abitur), ideally with focus on science subjects, e.g., mathematics and physics
Ideally currently studying an engineering subject, e.g., mechanical engineering, system engineering, electrical engineering, aviation engineering or similar, optionally planning to study a corresponding subject
First experience in one of the major CAD programs is a plus
First experience in design, manufacturing, assembly or testing is a plus
Fluent in English
Experience with Microsoft office suite
Can-do attitude
High degree of flexibility and working in a dynamic and growing company
Team player
