Skydio – Social/Community Manager

I’m looking for a contract Social/Community Manager with a creative eye for #socialcontent and excellent interpersonal communication skills to support the growth of Skydio’s brand presence and engagement on social media.

Responsibilities
-Act as the community voice of Skydio
-Support + manage the social publishing calendar for Consumer and Enterprise audiences
-Write creative social copy that helps to inform, educate, and entertain Skydio’s growing audience
-Identify and acquire high-quality user-generated content from the community for use on social
-Collaborate with video editors & visual designers to provide creative feedback in order to produce first class content for Skydio’s social channels
-Foster the Skydio Community on social by engaging with and re-sharing customer content
-Respond to day to day comments and messages across Skydio’s Social media channels
-Aggregate and Report back to internal stakeholders regarding issues, suggestions, etc
-Help identify and execute Social Campaigns that tie into greater social and brand marketing beats
-Be a leader in social innovation and creative executions + help to grow Skydio’s social media footprint
-Assist with identifying high-value content creators/influencers that Skydio should be engaging with
Other community management support as needed.

Qualifications
-Understanding of social media platforms including but not limited to FB, IG, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter & associated content requirements
-Innate creativity and a knack for innovative solutions
-Experience managing social media communities
-Creative eye for social media visual content
-Excellent interpersonal communication
-Copy writing proficiency
-Detail oriented & highly organized
-Experience with cross-functional team coordination

Nice to haves
-Passion for and familiarity with the Skydio brand and marketing
-Social media content creation experience 
-Drone experience
