Collecting the Right Data: The Drone Evidence Generation Toolkit

Collecting the Right Data: The Drone Evidence Generation Toolkit
The UAV for Payload Delivery Working Group invites you to the webinar “Collecting the Right Data: The Drone Evidence Generation Toolkit” on 30 September 2021, 10-11:00 AM EST.

About this webinar: VillageReach and the Interagency Supply Chain Group UAS Coordinating Body are inviting you to the new release of the Drone Evidence Generation Toolkit. The toolkit responds to a critical gap in the sector: most drone implementers collect and publicly share data on their flight operations, but there is little data on the effect drones have on supply chain performance and cost and on health outcomes. Without this evidence, governments and funders are slow to invest in drone operations at scale to transform healthcare delivery. In this webinar, you will be introduced to the new version of this toolkit, which helps implementers decide what data to collect to understand the results of their operations and to advocate for future projects. It provides sample tools to adapt to a specific project, as well as case studies detailing how others have used the toolkit and what they have learned in the process.

About our guest presenters: Susie Truog is a Manager on VillageReach’s Research, Evidence & Learning team. She led the development of the Drone Evidence Generation Toolkit and provides technical assistance to NGOs, drone service providers and others on how to collect the evidence donors and governments need to scale up medical drone delivery operations.

Tautvydas Juskauskas is the Coordinator of the Interagency Supply Chain Group’s UAS body, which consists of 11 major international donors. He convenes stakeholders for learning and sharing experiences and facilitating discussions in exploring scalable and sustainable drone delivery business models.
