Launch of the Future Flight Showcase: a platform to match expertise with projects
| The Future Flight Challenge is a £300m programme, jointly funded by the UK government and industry, to position the UK as a world-leader in the third aviation revolution. Phase III is set to launch in September and, to enable you to find new collaborative opportunities, we’re inviting you to submit a video to showcase the expertise you could bring to Future Flight. KTN and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) have set up a new Future Flight Challenge Showcase to allow those currently delivering a Future Flight project or those who wish to get involved in the competition’s forthcoming Phase III to highlight their expertise. This is your opportunity to find the missing capability or technology you need to complement your project or to showcase your services and expertise for others to find. Your video could focus on what you offer and/or what you need, be it end-users, services, capability, technology, or assets. The video Showcase will be widely accessible and promoted. You can easily upload a 2 minute video recorded using Zoom for example, or a smart phone to the platform outlining your expertise and the collaborative partners you’re seeking for Phase III. Video submissions will be reviewed by UKRI and KTN before they can be included in the Showcase. The deadline for submission is 6pm, 20 August.
