InterDrone Cancels 2021 Live Event, Eyes New Future
The past year has ushered in significant change, especially in re-imaging the way we gather and connect with our community. To that end, the InterDrone team has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 in-person edition of our conference, originally scheduled to take place August 10-12, 2021, in Dallas, TX.
Our team has been in communication with our community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, closely discussing the impact of the pandemic on our industry. Our cancellation decision was made in light of COVID-19-related challenges affecting our community, including ongoing restrictions on corporate travel, limitations on international travel, and overall budget constraints.
In addition, as we examined and listened to our community’s concerns regarding the changing nature of both the drone market and the new opportunities to meet and connect, we have also made the decision to take a step back and re-envision how we best serve our valued customers.
Over the course of the next several weeks we will be working with our community, our Board and our customers to involve you in our ideation process and ensure that your voice and your needs effectively drive our next steps.
We remain proud of InterDrone’s history and commitment to education and our core community. As we go through this process, you can count on InterDrone and LaunchPad to bring you the valuable content that you’ve come to expect through our newsletters, podcasts and webinars.
While we are sad not to be gathering in August, we are excited to have this opportunity to take a step back and work directly with you and come out of the pandemic stronger, with a more meaningful and powerful source of education, connections and community. We are grateful for your continued partnership and look forward to working together on a reimagined InterDrone.
