Location: Canberra (other CASA office locations considered)

The RPAS Technical Specialist is responsible for providing contemporary technical advice and expertise to inform the development of aviation safety policy, regulations and standards to support the development of the underpinning frameworks for complex RPAS risk mitigations.

The role will also support the Branch and industry in the development of standard scenarios for common concepts of RPAS operation.

We are seeking innovative candidates with highly developed communication skills, with experience in applying qualitative and quantitative analysis and safety risk management principles, preferably in an aviation or aerospace context.
