Skyports, established in 2017, is the leading owner and operator of vertiports for the emerging Advanced Air Mobility industry (AAM). Vertiports are the enabling landing infrastructure to allow for the operation of Electric Vertical Take-off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft, which are revolutionizing passenger travel and cargo logistics around the world.
As the leading innovator in AAM infrastructure, Skyports is focused on designing and building vehicle-agnostic vertiport networks in a number of cities globally, with the first commercial eVTOL flights planned for 2023. To support the launch of commercial operations, Skyports has active projects in the UK, US, France, Germany, Singapore, Japan and Australia. We are also actively engaged with aviation authorities and industry bodies in the US and EU to help shape vertiport standards and regulations.
Building on our industry leading position, Skyports designed and built the world’s first passenger vertiport prototype in Singapore in 2019 and, in collaboration with Volocopter, conducted the first-ever urban flight trials in Marina Bay.
With offices in London, Singapore and San Francisco, Skyports is well-funded having secured our Series A financing in early 2020 from Deutsche Bahn, Groupe ADP, Irelandia Aviation and Levitate Capital.
As Skyports continues to identify and acquire sites suitable for passenger and cargo vertiports across diverse geographies, we are continuing to develop our product and technology portfolio to commence operational testing ahead of permanent commercial operations.
