Charles-Hubert Dufour appointed Commercial Director of CERBAIR

Engineer by training, Charles-Hubert Dufour began his career with Alcatel in 1998, and specialized himself in wireless communication systems. In 2006, he left The Cairo for Amman due to his new appointment as Operations Director at the “Wireless Transmission Division” in the Middle East. There, he headed the company’s Jordanian and Iraqi departments. Two years later, strengthened by an impressive operational experience, he took the lead of Alcatel-Lucent’s management in Iraq, Jordan, Palestine and Syria as Country Senior Officer, so as to coordinate commercial operations.

Close to the defense industry, Charles-Hubert Dufour pursued his career in THALES, overseeing the commercial developments starting from 2009. With a strong network and unrivalled expertise, he established the French manufacturer’s offices in difficult areas, such as Jordan, Iraq (most notably Kurdistan), and reactivated connections with Syria. In 2013, still in THALES, he took charge of the company’s activities in sub-Saharan Africa, Tunisia and Libya. Since 2016, he occupies similar positions in various defense and security organizations.

“With Charles, I immediately understood that our strategic and commercial ambitions were going in the same direction”, underlines Lucas, CERBAIR’s Chief Executive Officer. An opinion shared by Charles-Hubert Dufour: “The anti-drone fight is a major security concern in numerous sectors, both military and civilian. As an engineer, focusing on the radiofrequency now, while working towards a multi-technology solution for the future, is an approach that really makes sense. This company shows very strong fundamentals, motivating dynamics, and a scale-up spirit while pioneering a highly competitive market. Together, we will bring CERBAIR to a resolutely international dimension”.

Charles-Hubert Dufour joins the CERBAIR team as Commercial Director. He will manage three sales representatives, an export controller and an analyst. His expertise has already proved useful in relationship management with the resellers and commercial partners. His insights have also been valuable in the development and application of the company’s ambitions.

About CERBAIR: created in 2015, CERBAIR gained the trust of major corporate and
institutional entities, such the Ministry of Defence, Interior, and Justice. It recently
cooperated with the French Police elite force during the G7 Biarritz Convention. Distinguished by EIT Digital as one of the most innovative and promising “scale-up”, CERBAIR was awarded the first place in the “Digital Cities” category.
