Sunbirds is an innovative company created in 2015 that specializes in the design, deployment, and implementation of fixed-wing professional UAVs. Sunbirds’ expertise is a large-scale aerial inspection. Sunbirds has a large number of projects, mainly in Central Africa and the Australian Bush. It supports its customers in their aerial mapping campaigns drone, from the acquisition of the solution to data mining and flight operations. Sunbirds is a key player in many industrial projects related to eco-certification, natural resource management.
In close connection with the Sunbirds CEO, you will be in charge of business development business continuity in Australia. Established full time in our startup hub in Brisbane, you will work with our Chief Pilot and carry out the following missions:
Partnership management and project editing / management
o Monitoring and animation of existing projects
o Development of projects with local governments, partner companies and private clients
o Field operational missions
o Organization and animation of user training
o Definition of R & D priorities in relation to the Chief Pilot and the CEO
Management / customer relationship management & business development
o Monitoring of existing accounts, meetings with customers / prospects
o Opening of accounts, commercial negotiation
o Coordination with resellers and partners
o Market analysis, customer needs and strategic marketing
o Operational marketing & digital marketing development
o Organization and animation of events in the region
o Participation in the management and management of the company in connection with the CEO
o Definition of objectives and measurement of results
o Support for import management and production in connection with the CEO and the Chief Pilot
o Follow-up of aeronautical regulations and lobbying
Travel will be expected in major cities and rural areas.
With a Master’s degree in Business School, Political Science or equivalent, you are perfectly at ease in writing and speaking English and for public speaking. You have great relational ease, a commercial temperament and show spirit team. A first successful experience in Business Development B2B would be more. Spirit of initiative, adaptability, and autonomy are paramount. Good organizational and reporting skills are also important.
The missions will bring you to work in rural and agricultural areas, especially in contact with breeders. An appetite for these sectors and a strong interest in drones or model aircraft are a plus.
