Gene has well over fifteen years in the field of operating sUAS for Firefighting, Law Enforcement, Entertainment, SAR, and scientific research.  He literally wrote the book on the SAR subject First To Deploy and was the subject of the 2013 Drone Search and Rescue Documentary Gene was also the pilot behind the NIM protocols for NIST Wildland-Urban Interface Fires Gene wrote the first FAA CoA for first responders.
