Win a fully paid place on the COPTRZ CAA PFCO drone training course
The COPTRZ Comprehensive CAA PfCO Training Course will allow you to gain the full up-to-date package of skills, knowledge and experience needed to apply for your Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO) from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). During the course, you will gain a thorough understanding of the current UK air law and operations standards for flying drones safely in a commercial environment.
Our fully approved CAA PfCO Training Course takes place over a 4 day period in total and includes a pre-course study guide, ground school lessons, theory test and operations manual walk-through and flight test.
GROUND SCHOOL – 3 DAYS
The first 3 days of the course are ground school training which includes theory training, theory test and operations manual walkthrough.
FLIGHT TEST – 1 DAY
On day 4, if you are confident in your flying skills and your operations manual has been signed off by one of our CAA approved trainers you can take your flight test. If not, no problem, the flight test can be arranged for a later date at the same location.
On completion of your CAA PfCO Training Course, COPTRZ will submit a recommendation to the CAA to release your Permission for Commercial Operations. This is a legal requirement for those wishing to operate their drone commercially.
