UMS and QinetiQ Target Systems announce partnership at CANSEC

UMS SKELDAR and QinetiQ Target Systems have partnered as part of Royal Canadian Navy UAV program

Global pioneer of NATO-compliant rotary Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) solutions, UMS SKELDAR, has joined forces with world-leading provider of unmanned air, land and surface vehicle targets QinetiQ Target Systems. The partnership has been formed to enable both organizations to provide the platforms and solutions for a joint Canadian maritime program, including the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) UAV contract.

With platforms like the SKELDAR V-200 and QinetiQ’s Obsidian Counter UAV Drone Detection solution taking center stage at CANSEC 30 – 31 May, this will provide an opportunity to see the next generation of UAV technologies in action, and to discuss how this new partnership will provide the solutions to the military and civilian maritime community’s UAV requirements.
