Experience a New Way of Flying Drones with Epson at Treasure Island this Saturday

This Saturday at Treasure Island, Epson will be partnering with SF Drone School to deliver a hands-on experience with its Moverio® BT-300 FPV/Drone Edition smart glasses, allowing attendees to try the newly developed drone flight simulator by Epson. Hosted by Magic Sky USA, a DJI authorized retailer and proprietors of both a DJI store and kiosk in San Francisco.

Epson and FAA-certified pilots from SF Drone School will be there to expertly guide attendees to fully experience the Moverio smart glasses and the flight simulator app. Complimentary refreshments and giveaways will be available.

With Moverio smart glasses, Epson’s projection technology expertise has created a best-in-class FPV solution for DJI drones used in applications such as aerial videography, photography and inspection. The Epson Moverio BT-300 FPV/Drone Edition smart glasses enhances the safety, productivity and capabilities of DJI pilots by offering a transparent, heads-up display (HUD) experience to assist with maintaining visual line of sight (VLOS) of the drone.

The flight simulator app to be demonstrated at the event allows a user to fly a 3D digital drone in the real world using flight controllers from the latest DJI drones, including the Mavic Pro, Phantom 4 and Inspire 2. The simulator mirrors the natural, real-world movements of a DJI Mavic Pro, allowing new pilots to learn to fly and experienced pilots to sharpen their skills.

Come along today Saturday, December 9, noon to 5 p.m.
