AirBox’ s founder and inventor, Brandon Pargoe, has worked with engineers at Virginia Tech to develop the smart mailbox system that securely receives items delivered by an unmanned aerial drone. Promising to provide much faster service than currently possible and is expected to be used in smart cities as well as rural and rugged environments where infrastructure to travel by land is limited. Mr. Pargoe has teamed up with launch partner, Lukas Wrede of Skycart Incorporated, to distribute the technology. Their aim is to make it possible to deliver goods anywhere in the world, whether it is to remote villages or modern smart cities.
