Institute for Drone Technology to sign MOU with Engineering Council of India

The Institute for Drone Technology™ continues to expand in the drone training industry on a global scale. The global drone technology market in the education sector is set to grow at almost 15% by 2021. Our company is about to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Engineering Council of India (ECI) to provide drone technology training in India.

Engineering Council of India
ECI is an apex body of engineering associations. They have around 2.4 million students and represent 4000 technical colleges and schools of higher learning. Today there are 40 members that make up the body, which includes 8 Government Departments and 32 Indian Engineering Professional Associations/ Institutions representing practically all engineering streams.

Partnership Developments
This partnership will provide an excellent path for opportunities in the drone industry to be shared between each nation. ECI recognise the impact drones will have on future industries. They are on an assignment to educate and support the safe regulation of drone technology in India.

The Institute for Drone Technology™ will be working with ECI to develop drone technology training that is recognised by industry and governmental departments. The curriculum will include educating students to use drone technology in a variety of industries. Empowering these students with this knowledge will help strengthen the industry and the future prosperity of India on an economic level.

The agreement will be signed in India next week and we look forward to creating a prosperous relationship with the ECI.
