Commercial UAS Flight Crew AUV Flight Services – Tucson, AZ
AUV Flight Services is seeking talented professionals to support expanding customer flight operations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Flight operations will be conducted utilizing primarily Piccolo based VTOL aircraft, with additional multirotor platforms utilized based on customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background in UAS operations and maintenance, manned flight experience (PPL with instrument rating required), and customer interaction. Additionally, the candidate must be flexible enough to adapt to a schedule that changes rapidly and sometimes on short notice based on immediate customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
Position is based in Fort Worth, TX and will require relocation (relocation assistance to be provided). Estimated travel requirements are approximately 30%. The candidate shall be crossed trained on multiple positions and platforms to ensure the flexibility to meet customer requirements. The candidate can expect to perform both VLOS and BVLOS operations for the customer, performing tasks such as aerial data collection, infrastructure inspection, airspace coordination, and safe handling of the aircraft. A customer background check will be required.
Position Requirements:
Private Pilot’s License with instrument rating
Part 107 License
Experience with Piccolo autopilot preferred
Multirotor sUAS experience
Fixed wing sUAS experience
The ability to work in a small team environment
