Delta Drone signs a distribution agreement with Propeller Aerobotics

Delta Drone and Propeller Aerobotics have signed an international distribution agreement aiming to develop the connected target market designed and manufactured by the Australian company.

As part of this agreement, Delta Drone will be able to commercialise and implement Propeller’s targets in the various countries in which the Group operates, including Europe, Africa and the Americas in the sectors of agriculture, forestry, mines and quarries.

Straightforwardly placed on the ground, the targets, powered by solar panels, integrate a radio system that allows them to be connected very quickly to the GPS satellite system and thus geo-localized very precisely some reference points of the site to be mapped.

Propeller connected targets have been successfully tested during the last 6 months in hundreds of missions by Delta Drone teams. The targets are obviously reusable and provide significant time and cost savings compared to centimetre GPS readings performed using conventional ground stations. Compared to the onboard geo-localization capabilities embedded on some drones, they are much more accurate and provide a better quality deliverable.

Propeller Aerobotics Pty Ltd is an Australian company founded in 2014 and based in the suburbs of Sydney, which develops systems dedicated to the sector of civilian drones.

About Delta Drone: The Delta Drone group is a leading player in the civilian drones sector for professional use.
