SkyOne from Sky X

SkyOne from Sky X

SkyOne, a tailsitter to add to the one to watch list. It looks very slick! It is a quad flying wing combo, much like the Shark Tank funded XPlusOne from xCraft.

Sky X are a Canadian company with offices in Markham and Calgary the SkyOne is cleverly targeted at the linear inspection market. That to me is a smart category to chase.

No price on their website I have had a look about for in-flight video, but nothing found yet. There is this rendering kicking about,

Also quite a detailed how it will work.

So lots of thinking has gone into this, it will be interesting to see if the actual airframe is up to the job. As with all tail sitters staying upright on landing in any wind will be interesting. I look forward to seeing a video of it in 10-knot landings!

Well done Sky X an interesting stealthy smart arrival on the scene.
