Flying Production launches THOR UAV

Flying Production launches THOR UAV

Isreali company Flying Production have released a very tidy looking large quad. What caught my eye was the endurance, up to 75 minutes! Quite a claim.

Unusual to see the GPS stuck on a mast in commercial systems. No doubt to get it up and away from RF issues in the main body.

THOR VTOL sUAS is a low altitude multi-rotor platform. Design and built from the ground up, with a real-time HD data link and unique control software. It is a powerful tool for a variety of missions. It can be deployed almost anywhere and in a wide range of weather and terrain conditions. The THOR features an automatic takeoff and landing capability and autonomous mission flights. THOR operates in urban areas with non-line of sight communication as well as in marine zones.
