Amimon launch HD streaming Falcore racing drone at CES 2017
At CES 2017, Amimon is launching Falcore its new racing Drone with “Shield” feature that puts Falcore into automatic hover, allowing all level of drone enthusiasts to enjoy flying without fear of crashing.
Amimon, the creator of zero latency wireless HD video technology, is announcing the launch of its brand new racing drone the Falcore. The Falcore is a technology demonstrator designed from the ground up by Amimon to help expose drone racing to everyone. It allows novice pilots to fly FPV right out of the box, and with a switch of a button turn the Falcore into an aggressive, ultra-fast, ultra-durable racing drone. Amimon will be unveiling Falcore at CES for the first time and have live demonstrations of its dual-mode flight capabilities at the Westgate Hotel pool, in a specifically designed race track.
What makes Falcore unique from other drones is its patented “Shield” mode. This unique flight mode allows unexperienced drone pilots to fly like pros from day one. Using sonar and barometer sensors, Falcore’s Shield flight mode will automatically maintain a fixed distance above ground, and allow pilots to fly close to the ground without the need to maintain altitude. With Shield mode, Falcore flies like an RC car using a single stick operation. Its unique Aeroshell monocoque carbon fiber chassis provides protection for all electronics on board in an aerodynamic drag free enclosure.
Offering dual mode capabilities, the Falcore allows experienced FPV pilot to easily switch to “Acro” mode and fly the Falcore in a fully acrobatic profile as a great drone racing platform.
Other features of Falcore include:
● Full assembled drone ready to fly with CONNEX ProSight HD Vision system embedded
● “Stop-and-Land” button that allows the pilots to recover and stop any aerobatic manoeuvre stabilising the drone to the horizon and perform a self-landing safely.
● Impact-flex arms designed to dislocate at high power impacts, protecting the drone from damage
● Easy release and replaceable battery pack, compatible with existing XT60 battery
● Single screw electronics drawer removal
● Custom made remote controller with an easy operation of all the special flight modes
“Our goal with developing Falcore is to make FPV racing fun and available for everyone from the first try,” says Uri Kanonich, VP Marketing of Amimon. “With drone racing a rapidly growing sport, we believe that anyone should be able to jump right in and fly. Falcore provides everything a drone pilot needs and will have you racing like a pro in no time.”
Amimon is releasing the Falcore limited edition to the US market at CES, through its exclusive channels B&H, GetFPV, and ReadyMadeRC.
